Two trains!

I pestered papa to set up his Lego trains again, since he bought more track last weekend. Ain't it fun to be chasing two trains rather than one?

Sour Apple Ribbons!

Daddy and mommy tried to feed us sour apple ribbons tonight. It was far too sour for my taste, but Ernie just chomped it down straight and wanted more!

Playing with Lego Trains!

I got bored with the Duplo trains that daddy bought for me, so after some pestering, I got him to set up his Lego trains for me to see ...

Ernie is 1 year old (finally!)

We celebrated Ernie's birthday early at Ee-mah's house. Ernie has been so well-trained during his monthly 'birthday' celebrations that he had no problems blowing out the candle!

At the Zoo!

After Daddy signed up for Friends of the Zoo, he decided to bring the whole family there again to make it worthwhile! We also surprised Mommy by finally agreeing to sit in the two-seater pram she bought for us months ago...

It was kinda thrilling to see the zookeeper throw huge chunks of meat at the lions. All I can say is - thank goodness for moats!

What we enjoyed most was the Zoo playground - check out how we scampered and clambered around non-stop! (Note to self: remember to try out the water jets during next visit)

Holiday in Bintan

Daddy brought us on a weekend trip to Bintan to celebrate Mommy's birthday. The weather was great and I had loads of fun on the beach digging holes and running at waves...

Ernie didn't really like the beach. He kept hopping on one foot so as not to get both feet dirty! You can see he's much happier at the kids' pool.

Mommy's back!

Mommy returned home from overseas this afternoon, so we went to the airport to welcome her back. Her flight was delayed so I kept peering impatiently through the glass, while Aubrey and Tey C waited for Auntie Joey...

I took the chance while waiting to become closer friends with Aubrey!

Underwater World

We went to the Underwater World and the Dolphin Lagoon at Sentosa today. I was kinda scared of the fishes at first (I call them "mo" after Nemo)...

I really warmed up later and kept wanting to reach into the tank to touch the fish, as you can see in this clip...

Ernie was more enthusiastic at the dolphin lagoon, although by then, I had already nodded off...

Nemo on Ice!!

Daddy & mommy brought us to see Disney on Ice's Finding Nemo today. I was rather edgy and restless at first, but my eyes were glued to the stage once Mickey came on!Bruce the shark was rather scary though, I sat real still when he came on, hoping he wouldn't see me in the dark. Ernie slept through the first bit of the show, and although he was watching when he woke up, I suspect he was more interested in his milk (which mommy had to fumble to make in the dark) than the skating ... By the time the show was over, I didn't really want to leave... here's a pic of me waving goodbye to everyone with my nemo hat...
After the show, daddy brought us to Vivocity to walk around a bit. I was so inspired by all the fish antics that I got myself all wet at the fountains. Luckily mommy brought a change!

Ernie's 10-month "birthday"!

Ernie is 10 months old! We got him a slice of cake as usual, but since he can eat solid food now, he thought it was for him, and made a grab for it! I was in a good mood so I kept kissing Ernie before blowing out the candle for him. It was the first time I've been able to blow out a candle!

Climbing Bukit Timah!

Someone came up with a clever idea to climb Bukit Timah on New Year's Day and so that's what we did. Of course if was the adults who did all the climbing. Ernie and I just woke up at the top for a stretch of our legs. We got pretty worried about the wild monkeys on the way down though.

My first plane ride - to Guangzhou!

Mommy and daddy brought me on my first plane ride to Guangzhou on holiday for a week. I sure didn't like flying and would have cried most of the way if it hadn't been for the portable DVD player and Bob the Builder. Shhh - don't tell Ernie - we had to leave him at home cos he was too young to travel...

Here I am with my cousins in front of some lake - We went for a trek along the gorge after that. Daddy had to carry me all the way and said I weighed like a sack of potatos. Here you see cousin Ian and Seannie at a mid-way break.

Picnic at Pasir Ris

Today's a Hari Raya holiday, so mommy's extended family went to have a picnic at Pasir Ris. Here I am trying on my new hat!

A Sleepy Saturday Afternoon...

It was a warm and humid Saturday afternoon, so Ernie and I spent most of our time lounging around the house and playing with toys.

Cousin Rachel's Birthday Party!

We had a real blast celebrating Rachel's 8th birthday with my cousins. As you can see, we tried to make it as hard as possible for our daddies to line us up for a group photo.

Ernie tried to join in the photo but Cousin Ian had to pull him aside when he nearly stomped on the cake!

The rest of the evening was spent in general mayhem as usual ...

Ernie's 3rd Month "Birthday" Celebration

I was rather sleepy when mommy and daddy set up a cake for Ernie's third month "birthday".
